【 Scope Of Application 】
Suitable for removing gallstones from the bile duct or foreign objects from the upper and lower digestive tracts.
【 Usage 】
The usage method of NRC type stone retrieval basket is the same as that of WL type stone retrieval basket.
1. Determine the location of the stone through imaging.
2. Sent into the stone retrieval basket through the endoscopic biopsy hole.
3. When the basket reaches the site of the stone, continue to push it so that the basket head passes over the stone.
4. Push and pull the handle, open the basket; Slowly pull back the basket under X-ray monitoring.
5. When the maximum diameter of the basket overlaps with the stone, pull back the push-pull handle to tighten the basket and retrieve the stone. Once the stone is trapped, there is resistance to the
retraction of the handle, and on the X-ray, the basket appears elliptical around the stone. If the stone is difficult to retrieve, it is necessary to repeatedly advance and retract the basket and patiently
retrieve it.
6. After confirming the removal of the stone, slowly pull back the basket to the end of the endoscope, and then slowly withdraw along with the endoscope.
7. If the stone is too large to be extracted, it can be crushed first and then collected using a stone basket.
